Dear Torridge District Council,
1. How many off-street car parks do you own?
2. Please provide the number of off-street car parks you own in your district?
3. Please provide a list where you own off-street car parks and where they are located?
4. How many spaces for off-street parking were there in each of the above off-street car parks for the years 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010?
5. How many spaces have been lost through development or the placing of recycled containers or any other purpose in each off-street car park you own for the above years where car park spaces have been lost?
6. How many new off-street car parks have been created in your district in the years as provided by the answer in question 4.
7. If there have been new off-street car parks created, which area, and how many additional spaces did they create?
8. Are the off-street parking charges standard throughout your area, if not, what are the differences?
9. What is the minimum/maximum charge for each of your off-street car parks?
10. Are the penalties for not complying with the restrictions uniform for each off-street car park?

District area.

if not, what are the differences?

The tariffs across Torridge District Council car parks vary according to
whether they are short and long stay and so on.  Please find attached a

Yes, in line with the Traffic Management Act 2004, S78 Civil Enforcement
of Parking Contraventions (England) Representations and Appeals
Regulations 2007.
