OCR History 2018 alevel paper

We're waiting for William Zev to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations,

I am writing to request a OCR history A2 paper for 2018, specifically the Thematic study and historical interpretations paper on the topic of Alfred and the making of England. I understand that it is scheduled for release in early May, but as the first exam is on the 21st of May, this is too late to be effectively utilised by students and therefore not in the public interest. The stated reason that the paper is withheld being that it enables schools to use papers for mock examinations is also invalid, as mock examinations generally occur months before the real exam, not within weeks. There also currently are only 2 sets of these examinations available to the public online, meaning releasing the 2018 set of exams earlier would be far more in the public interest.

Yours faithfully,

William Zev
