Please firstly confirm that you accept your responsibility to answer Freedom of Information Requests regarding Environmental matters.
Then please advise me how much waste water from the Cuadrilla fracking site at Preston New Road, Little Westby has been released during the 24 months from 1st April, 2017 to the 31st March, 2019 into the local water courses and what the nature and amounts of any contamination contained within were?

Dear Mr Roberts
I am given to understand that you recently sought an internal review in
respect of one of your requests.
In the course of this being done, with great regret, it has also come to
my attention that we may not have also responded to another different
I note that in one of your requests you enquired : “how much waste water
from the Cuadrilla fracking site at Preston New Road, Little Westby has

May I apologise for not having responded sooner to this, but please note
that we do not permit discharges in to water courses via our assets other
than uncontaminated surface water (such as rain water). If however your
query relates to discharges to water courses following treatment at one of
our wastewater treatment works, I can also advise that there is no foul
sewage, process effluent or contaminated surface water discharged in to
the local wastewater network from this facility.
As this response is under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004,
should you wish to have this reconsidered for any reason, then you have a
right to seek an internal review. This can be done by
