Oath of Allegiance Breaches
Dear West Yorkshire Police,
I understand that all of your personnel swear an oath of allegiance to the Crown; please can you tell me how many cases there have been of officers found in breach of their oath since 2004.
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Warrin

Dear Freedom of Information,
Hi Martine, thank you for your reply. Do I take it that your officers do not swear an oath to the crown - to defend the interests of the king and his successors etc, as is the case with the PSNI, for instance, or that they do have obligations to the crown but, in practise, this is largely a protocol that has no relevance to their day-to-day duties?
Yours sincerely,
Stephen Warrin
