Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding CCW National Vegetation
Classification survey data for Wales.

CCW does hold NVC data - but not in one central database, we have a
number of databases and GIS tables that focus on each broad habitat
type.

We do now have a GIS data standard for such surveys that lays down the
data fields required for such surveys, a copy of which I attach.
However many of the datasets are from different vintages and sources;
have variations in data fields and are stored in specialist databases.
We might be able to provide information about these variations, or the
raw data itself, but are not sure if that degree of detail is what you
want.

You can find additional information about the NVC and related datasets
we hold on our website (library) where there is a metadatabase of most
of our corporate datasets.

You can find the NVC ones by keying NVC into the Dataset title search
box:

Woodlands GIS
Saltmarsh GIS

A search for "phase 2" will also return details of our data holdings
on:

Coastal habitats
Lowland grassland
Sand dunes
Upland habitats

“full details” button (top left) to view the full metdatada that
includes information on the format and any restrictions.
