The nursery schools are currently not out for tender as part of the
Council’s assets. We are currently undergoing a consultation on the
proposed closure of the maintained nurseries, but no decision has yet been
taken on this.
2. What repairs have been deemed required by NELC of Great Coates and

The nursery schools have a condition survey undertaken every 5 years. Any
repairs required are identified on a report and these are carried out.
Works have included: boilers; roofs; floors, windows, electrical
appliances etc.

tendered to fulfil the work?
There is no value attached to works.
