Thank you for your email of 18 December 2020, in which you asked:

Please confirm the total number of FCA staff placed on Performance
Improvement Plans within the period 1 April 2015 to 1 July 2019.

We have processed your email in line with the provisions of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and our response is below.

All Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) are undertaken in line with our
Performance Management procedure which is outlined in the FCA Employee
Handbook [1]here under section 4.7.

 

The initial stage of any performance management is dealt with informally
and therefore does not require us to record the information centrally. 
Due to this the data provided below only shows the number of employees
placed on formal PIPs.

 

From 1 April 2015 to 1 July 2019 a total of 43 employees were placed on
formal Performance Improvement Plans.

 

Your right to complain under FOIA
