Dear Mr Hogan

I refer to your freedom of information request of 29 August 2018.

I would appreciate if you could provide some clarification of your request.

1. I assume you require statistics relating to the number of companies in question?
2. Of the companies whose accounts are overdue and have not yet been struck off, in addition to companies that are currently active. Is your request to include those companies that are currently in the process of dissolution, liquidation or receivership?
3. Of the companies whose accounts are currently overdue, are you referring to:
a) for the current year only?
b)for all of the specified years?
c)In any of the specified years?

Yours sincerely

Dear Information Rights,

Hi. Thanks for your clarification request. My answers as follows:
1) You are correct. I just want the total numbers at present.
2) I am interested in companies that are marked as Company Status= 'active' when I bring up their information on beta.companieshouse.gov.uk. I don't believe that would include those categories you list, but if they are marked as 'active' then yes. please include them.
3) I am interested in the totals for each year. S a company which is marked as active, whose last accounts were due in 2012, and who have not yet been struck off, would appear in the total figure for 2012.

As an example, company number 07212666 should appear in the 2012 total. How many other companies are there like that.

Yours sincerely,

Feargal Hogan
