Dear Tower Hamlets Borough Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Tower Hamlets Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Numbers of Blue Badges Issued'.
The response suggests that the issuing of blue badges is poorly managed. The authority has divided the borough into parking zones and they should hold figures to prevent parking stress in each parking zone based on the number of permits issued. It has already been established that the council considers that you can park outside your home using a blue badge. Therefore the number of blue badges issued in each zone as well as the number of 'on street' parking permits in each zone have a significant impact on parking availability for residents.
For this reason I believe the exemption is invalid, and request that you review your response.
