Please supply me with details of the numbers of new build homes for social renting completed by the Council in each of the following 4 years ending, together with a description of the homes and their location within the Borough.
Please also supply me with identical details with respect to construction of new build homes for social renting, currently in progress, or committed to starting.

Thank you John, could we also seek clarification on the below point:
1. The request refers to 'social renting'.
We are not clear as to exactly what is referred to by this
expression. Social Housing is generally defined as housing let through a
registered housing provider at either a social rent (this is defined
through a formulaic approach provided by central government), or an
affordable rent (all Homes England grant funded social housing over the
last 6 years has been at an affordable rent, which is defined as up to 80%
of market rent).
Is the request in relation to all new social housing, or just those to be
let at a social rent?

It may be helpful to add that I regard the category of homes that my request refers to be synonymous with the term 'council houses'.
