Number of workers supported by the International recruitment fund for the adult social care sector, by partnership

We're waiting for Andrei Savitski to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

In March 2023, the government announced the international recruitment fund for the adult social care sector, which made £15 million available to 15 regional and sub regional partnerships to develop solutions to local challenges around the use of international recruitment and strengthen safeguards against exploitation. Funding was also made available for 2024 to 2025.

Could you please provide me with the most recently available figures for the number of workers who have been 'displaced by unethical practices or by their employer’s sponsorship licence being revoked', by regional or sub regional partnership. Where data is not available for a specific regional or sub regional partnership, please redact or exclude that data point.

Yours faithfully,

Andrei Savitski

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department of Health and Social Care's handling of my FOI request 'Number of workers supported by the International recruitment fund for the adult social care sector, by partnership'.

I appreciate that the DHSC would not hold information on the exact number of workers 'displaced by unethical practices or by their employer's sponsorship licence being revoked'. However, I believe a reasonable estimate can be made, by providing the number of enquiries from or referrals of such workers, that are received by regional or sub regional partnerships.

Please provide these alternative figures (i.e. the number of enquiries from or referrals of such workers received), by regional or sub regional partnership. Where data is not available for a particular regional or sub regional partnership, please redact or exclude those data points.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/n...

Yours faithfully,

Andrei Savitski
