Number of workers earning under minimum wage in the textiles, fashion and garment industry

Department for Work and Pensions did not have the information requested.

To whomever it may concern,
I am writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 in regards to the number of workers earning under minimum wage in the British fashion industry.
Could you please send me the following statistics for all years including and between 2008 and 2018
- Number of workers for UK houses found to be earning under the national living wage.
- Number of workers for UK based fashion houses earning under the national minimum wage
- How many houses outsource their production to other countries such as China, India and Sri-Lanka

If you don’t have this information could you please recommend a source I would be able to use to find it.

Many thanks,
Hannah Stobie
