Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'Number of warrants granted for TV License'.

The request was refused however I believe that it is in the public interest to know how effective TV Licensing's efforts to police access to television programmes is. In addition, it would only encourage crimes to be committed if it was made clear that TV Licensing was not doing their job properly so by not releasing the statistics the company is not open to public scrutiny and therefore it can only be assumed that TV Licensing is ineffective at what it does.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/n...

Yours faithfully,

Mr Bowden

BBC/Capita, will never willingly give this info, but they accidently released it a few years ago - it was about 100 in a year.
Not something to worry about....
