I would be grateful if you could provide responses to the following questions under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 –
1. How many unaccompanied asylum seeking children are looked after by Wandsworth Borough Council Children's Services?
Of these -
. What is the number of males and females?
. How many are 11 to 15 years old?
. How many are aged 16 and over?
. How many are living in borough?
. How many are in each ward?
. How many are living out of borough and in which boroughs are they living?
2. How many former unaccompanied asylum seeking children are looked after by Wandsworth Borough Council?
Of these -
. What is the number of males and females?
. How many are 11 to 15 years old?
. How many are aged 16 and over?
. How many are living in borough?
. How many are in each ward?
. How many are living out of borough and in which boroughs are they living?
3. How many unaccompanied asylum seeking children are living in Wandsworth, out of borough from another borough?
4. How many asylum seeking families with children live in the borough?
Of these-

Of these-

With regard to questions 3 & 4 this information is not held. The local
authority would not know how many asylum seeking families with children
live in their area because these families are supported by the Home Office
(S.95 NASS support). Unless there are safeguarding concerns, they would
not come to the attention of Department of Education and Social Services.
