Dear Cardiff University,

Name of person making the request - Dr Martin L Moss

Background to request - My wife and I have been hosts to a young Ukrainian refugee who was unable to stay and take up her offer of a place to study Dentistry in Kyiv.
She has studied A levels Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics achieving the required predicted grades in addition to a large amount of volunteering in her local hospital. She was awarded runner up in a national student volunteer award which she was presented with in the House of Lords by Dame Sally Dicketts. Her use of English is exemplary. She was not offered an interview at any of her 4 medical school choices.

REQUEST

I should like to know the number of students offered an interview for Medicine who were Ukrainian refugees who have applied to study at Cardiff on the basis of A levels taken in their second language.

Thank you for your help in anticipation. An electronic reply is preferred.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Martin Moss
