Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'Number of TV licenses issued historic data'.

To access BBC Handbooks, Annual Reports and Accounts, 1927-2002 you have to pay.

https://microform.digital/boa/collection...

This data should be available for free. Especially given the amount of money the BBC already screws out of its users.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/n...

Yours faithfully,

John Walker

A British Online Archives Single User Licence doesn't allow you to download (and process) all of the items in a collection, only a 'reasonable amount' so wouldn't be of use to you if you want to extract the number of licences sold.
