Dear Freedom Of Information Team ( IND ),

Your reply to my request is unprofessional to the point of being flippant.

The information I requested which you claim was reasonably accessible for March and April had not actually been published when I submitted and then clarified my request on 31st May 2011. The debate you refer to occurred on 7th June 2011. I would also question that Hansard a service over which your agency has no control is reasonably accessible or one that the UKBA should rely on. I wonder just how much time it took for you to look up those links rather than just run the query against your database for the period I asked for?

You have not provided the figures for May 2011 which given the acknowledgement received from you on 3rd June I would have expected. For the benefit of the many readers of this website will you provide the data for January through to May inclusive in one document as you have done so on previous occasions.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Kellard

NEYH, Freedom of Information,

Dear Mr Kellard

Thank you for your email of 18 June. I am sorry you were not satisfied
with our response of 16 June.

We can provide you with data for May as requested. This falls to be
dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and will be treated
as a new request for information. Please note that data for May was not
available when you made your original request on 29 May.

In our response of 16 June, we included website links and information to
help you locate the relevant statistical information on Hansard. The
information we provided could therefore be reasonably obtained by other
means to members of the public. However, we will provide figures from
January to May as requested.

I hope this is of help to you.

Kind Regards

Dear Mr Smith (FOI),

Thankyou for your reply. There appears to be a formatting problem with the output. Will you ask your IT team to reformat the query output into a table as I am sure you would agree it does not make a lot of sense as it currently is.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Kellard

Dear Mr Smith,

The pdf output document seems ok, there is a problem with the HTML version though which is not readable.

Please disregard my earlier message as the pdf version will be sufficient for readers.

Thankyou for the information.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Kellard

Mr Kellard,

Apologies that the information in the PDF file I sent you wasn't
visible. I have checked and the information was visible on our system so
something must have gone wrong during the sending process.

I have attached the spreadsheet version of the table in the hope that
this is visible and useful to you.

If you have any further problem please let me know.
