Number of students achieving eleven 9s or more

Abhimanyu Gowda made this Freedom of Information request to Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation,

In the last two years, the new GCSEs having been introduced to make it harder to achieve a string of top grades and 732 students published to have been given 7 or more straight grade 9s.

Ms. Wendy Turner has, I understand, already made a similar request (freely available online at https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...)

If possible, I would kindly like to request an additional data set from the 2018 examination season (under the Freedom of information Act 2000 (the Act)):

1. How many students achieved a full set of 11 or more grade 9s in the June 2018 examination season

N.B Please do not release data in the form defined by the Data Protection Act 2018, and instead, ensure that data may be categorised as statistical information and that the original individuals associated with the data may not be identified.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Abhimanyu Gowda
