Dear Welsh Government/Llywodraeth Cymru,

Would it be possible to have a breakdown of the number of pupils in each borough of Wales starting within September 2012?

Could I have then in the age range 3 – 19?

Yours faithfully,

Ieuan Williams

Ackland, Jonathan (SPF&P - KAS), Welsh Government

Dear Ieuan

Data on pupil numbers is collected through the Pupil Level Annual School Census (PLASC). Census day is generally in the middle of January each year so we're currently in the middle of collecting and validating the data. I'm afraid the pupil numbers data you require will not be available until the data is published in July.

Please get in touch if you would like any further information.

Kind regards
Jon
