Freedom of Information,

Good morning

I am emailing for clarification in respect of the two Freedom of
Information Requests you have submitted to Durham Constabulary:

207/21:                The number of items of mail in transit seized by
your force during 2020.

202/21:                The number of items intercepted and/or seized by
the force in the post in the year 2020.

Unfortunately, I am unclear as to the information you are seeking and
would ask that you provide further clarification and explanation.  For
example, are you referring to items of mail that have been sent from a
private individual to another address (private or commercial) and seized
at Royal Mail sorting offices? Or does your request refer to an entirely
different scenario?

Under FOI, the applicant must clearly define the information being sought
and without additional context, I am unfortunately unable to process your
requests.  I should also stress that given the similarity in subject area
for both requests, these will be aggregated together under FOI by this
force and dealt with as a single request.

I have placed these requests on hold pending further details form
yourself, at which point I will re-open the requests and process them
accordingly as a single request under FOI.

Best wishes
