Number of graduates on 5 year courses

The request was successful.

Dear University of Glasgow,

Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act, I kindly request some data from you regarding the numbers of graduates on the standard 5 year courses which are also available to school leavers.

For clarification, by this I mean students who have previously completed an Honours degree or higher prior to entry onto the following courses where appropriate:

A100 Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery
A200 Bachelor of Dental Surgery

My request is in three parts:

1) How many students do you currently have enrolled in each year group?
2) How many of these students are graduates (as defined above)?
3) What are the exact numbers of graduate students who were wrongly offered Tuition Fee Loans by the Student Loan Company and then had to pay fees up front to the University over the past 3 years?

I look forward to hearing from you promptly and would appreciate an acknowledgement of receipt of this request.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Faisel Alam

Dear FOI Office,

I apologise for this but I forget to add two additional questions to my enquiry:

Q4) How many graduates (as previously defined) applied (including 2013 entry) broken down into each UCAS cycle for the past 5 years? This should be done in conjunction with Q1 and Q2 so they all line up with each other

Q5) How many of the above were offered interviews broken down into the same manner?

Yours sincerely,

Mr Faisel Alam
