Number of GCSEs taken and number of A*s acheved, Bsc Economics
Dear London School of Economics,
I would like to make an FOI request for the number of GCSEs taken and the number of these GCSEs graded at an A* grade for all students who took the GCSE qualification in the application window for 2013 entry.
I would also like to be provided with which of these applications were offered a place and which were not.

Hi Rachael,
There's a possibility with the second request that it could go over, but I
think the existing reports I have will make it much quicker. I think it's
more likely I will have a report albeit one with a few caveats.

Information Act, please find attached the information you requested.
Please note that the information has been received from the applicants
themselves through UCAS, and as such, the School cannot be completely
certain of the consistency of the data provided. While all efforts have
been taken to remove duplicates, the dataset does contain instances of
students listing for example ‘Science, Science, Biology, Chemistry and
Physics’ as separate subjects amongst 17 GCSEs taken.
