Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Please provide answers to the following questions:
1. How many individual households that in receipt of more than £1000 a week/£52000 a year in State Social Security Benefits (total from all possible state benefits such as DLA, housing benefit and tax credit)?)?
2. How many individual households that in receipt of more than £1500 a week/£75000 a year in State Social Security Benefits (total from all possible state benefits such as DLA, housing benefit and tax credit)?
3. How many individual households that in receipt of more than £500 a week/£25000 a year but below £1000 a week/ £52,000 a year, in State Social Security Benefits (total from all possible state benefits such as DLA, housing benefit and tax credit)?
4. What is the highest weekly/yearly benefit amount/handout that is currently received by a family in the UK? in other words, what is the highest state benefit amount/handout that is currently received by a State benefit beneficiary/claimant in the UK? can you break it down by the type of benefit (i.e. how much from each kind of state benefit?
