Number of Enterprise Advisers and number of those DBS-checked?

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Education,

I am writing regarding your £24m p.a. of funding to Careers & Enterprise company programmes.

Please can you provide the total number of Enterprise Advisers, every three months, since the programme was started to the present. Can you also provide the number that were DBS-checked at each of those three month points.

So for example;
2016 Q1: 30 EAs, 3 DBS-checked
2016 Q2: 45 EAs, 5 DBS-checked
2016 Q3: 58 EAs, 9 DBS-checked
etc. to 2017 Q2

Yours faithfully,

K. Gillick

You requested the total numbers of Enterprise Advisers and how many have
been DBS checked.

I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(“the Act”).

The Careers & Enterprise Company, sets out the total number of Enterprise
Advisers and the number who have applied for/have been granted a DBS
certificate, up to 2017, Quarter 1. This is the latest information that is
available. I would be grateful if you could contact me on
[1][email address] and I will be happy to provide you with
the paper.

If you have any queries about this letter, please contact me. Please
remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications.

If you are unhappy with the way your request has been handled, you should
make a complaint to the Department by writing to me within two calendar
months of the date of this letter. Your complaint will be considered by an
independent review panel, who review panel, who were not involved in the
original consideration of your request.

If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint to the
Department, you may then contact the Information Commissioner’s Office."

Dear M. Ngotho,

Thank you for your reply. Please note that your email address was blocked by this website and so I have no other way to follow this up.

Please can I ask that you respond to my original request for quarterly data on the number of Advisers and the number DBS checked "since the programme was started to the present", not just the total at Q1 2017.

I also ask that you share the actual data, not give me your email address for me to chase you for it again.

Yours sincerely,

Kieran Gillick
