Subject: FOI - Number of employees at Croydon Council (2024)

Your request is being considered and you will receive a response within
the statutory timescale of 20 working days, subject to the application of
any exemptions. Where consideration is being given to exemptions the 20
working day timescale may be extended to a period considered reasonable
depending on the nature and circumstances of your request. In such cases
you will be notified and, where possible, a revised time-scale will be
indicated. In all cases we shall attempt to deal with your request at the
earliest opportunity.

has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Specifically, you have requested the following information:

Please provide figures for the number of staff at Croydon Council employed
at director (or equivalent) and executive director level (specifying the
number in each category) with effect on:

March 31 2024.

Exec Directors = 7
Directors = 16
Have been employed in post in 23-24.

Please indicate how many in each of those categories - director and
executive director - had taken up posts within Croydon Borough Council
during the 2023-2024 year.

Have been employed in post in 23-24.

In addition, please provide the total number of staff on the council
pay-roll on this date.
