Number of emergency ambulance call outs

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust,

Please provide statistics for the total number of emergency ambulance call-outs to private home addresses for the period 2015-2020. If possible, please specify the reasons e.g. suspected heart attack etc.

Yours faithfully,

Review Procedure

We hope this provides the information required. However, if it is felt that the way the request was handled or the content of the response is unsatisfactory and should be reviewed, please write to the Information Governance Team at [email address] requesting an internal review and stating the reference number at the top of this document.

A request for an internal review should be submitted within 40 working days of the day this response was sent. Any such request received after this time will only be considered at the discretion of the Data Protection Officer.

If it is then felt that the outcome of the internal review is unsatisfactory, a complaint can be made directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for a decision, but it should be noted that the ICO will not make a decision unless the Trust’s internal review process has been followed first. The ICO’s contact details are available at
