I'm writing under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act to request the total number of data breaches recorded by this authority between 2018-23.

For the purposes of this request, a data breach is defined by the Information Commissioner's Office, as "a security incident that has affected the confidentiality, integrity or availability of personal data."

As part of the request, I would like information broken down into the following:

(i) The total number of data breaches reported between 2018-23, broken down into years;

(ii) The total number of data breaches reported between 2018-23, broken down into type, e.g. phishing, theft or human error;

(iii) The total number of data breaches reported between 2018-23, broken down into departments impacted;

(iv) If possible, the total number of people impacted by data breaches between 2018-23, broken down into years;

(v) If possible, specific examples of the types of data/information breached each year between 2018-23;

(vi) Of the total data breaches recorded between 2018-23, how many were reported to the Information Commissioner's Office?
