Number of Council properties unoccupied per year since 2010

The request was successful.

Dear Cambridge City Council,

Per year, please can you supply the number of Council owned or managed residential properties that were unoccupied for a period of at least 3 months from 2014 to the present?

Further, can you break down as much as possible how long each propery remained unoccupied for?

Yours faithfully,

Ian Manning

Thank you for your request for information above, which we have dealt with
under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I hope the following will answer your query:

Please see attached doc.

This is a count of the number of voids re-let in each year where the void
period was longer than 3 months, and the average number of days the
properties in that year were void – please note in 2014 and just into 2015
and in 2018 and 2019 there were major redevelopments at Roman Courts and
Ditchburn Place that skewed the data.

We aim to provide a high quality service to you and hope that you are
satisfied with this response. If you have any further questions please do
not hesitate to contact us.

Yours sincerely
