Dear Manchester City Council,

I am requesting the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If any information is unavailable, exempt, or beyond time/cost limits, please disregard these and provide the rest.

The total number of council-owned/operated CCTV cameras as of 2024 within your local authority area (if information for 2024 is not yet available, please provide the most up-to-date numbers).

I do not need the location of these CCTV cameras, just a total number of CCTV cameras currently in operation within your local authority area.

Please let me know if you have any questions or require additional clarification.

Yours faithfully,

Jamie Dixon
