Dear Miss Oldfield

Thank you for your communication received on 30/03/2015 where you
requested information about Hartsdown Skate Park. You asked

        1. How many complaints have the Council received regarding
Hartsdown             Skate Park remaining a skate park from 2012 to
present date?

        2. From how many unique complainants?

The Council does not hold this information.

Whilst I am unable to provide you with statistics from records I am able
to advise that Thanet District Council held a residents meeting at
Hartsdown Leisure Centre on 25 October 2012 following a request from a
local resident. Residents from the surrounding area attended on the night
and were worried about the impact of hte skate park on the local area.
There was a follow up meeting on 31st July 2013 where TDC officers
presented some ideas to reduce any impact on the local area. Approximately
10-15 residents attended to show their dissatisfaction with the plans,
unfortunately the sign in register for this meeting is no longer held by
the Council.

Following these meetings one resident acted as the representative of those
that attended the meeting. There are five emails on record which were
released to you as part of your previous FOI on Hartsdown Skate Park.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your
original letter and should be addressed to: Information Request Assessor,
Thanet District Council, P O Box 9 Cecil Street, Margate Kent CT9 1XZ, or
send an email to [email address].

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information
