Dear Department for Transport,
You recently released information on the number of licensed cars from 1994-2018, organised by propulsion/fuel type, as can be seen here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio...
I would like data on the number of car breakdowns on UK roads between 2014-2019 broken down by fuel type (electric, petrol, diesel, hybrid) and vehicle makes/models. Please provide this as an Excel spreadsheet (or similar format), broken down by fuel type and month (or year if month is not possible).
I am also interested in the number of car makes/models that have been recalled between 2014-2019. Please can you provide this data, broken down by month (or year) and by make/model and number of recalled vehicles.
Dear Ms Bucknole
Thank you for your request for information dated 4 September 2019. Please
accept my apologies for the lateness in responding, but I was attempting
to establish who would be best placed to answer your request.
I have been informed that the subject matter falls within the remit of
Highways England. Can I therefore ask that you re-direct your request to
Highways England via the following portal:
Additionally, information relating to car makes/models that have been the
subject of a recall would fall within the remit of the Driver and Vehicle
Standards Agency, who can be contacted via: [email address]
