Jonathan Rainey

Dear Monmouthshire County Council,

With increased geopolitical tensions in the world between the west and major superpowers such as Russia and China, how many bomb shelters (including nuclear bomb shelters) are available in the Monmouthshire County Council area for the public to take shelter in?

Yours faithfully,

Jonathan Rainey

They are trying to get you off wdtk.

Why would they want to do that?

Jonathan Rainey left an annotation ()

Actually, they aren't. They're sending the e-Mails by mistake.

Jonathan Rainey

Dear Monmouthshire County Council,

Can you explain in full why you are creating an account I did not ask for as part of this request?

Yours faithfully,

Jonathan Rainey

MCC - Freedom of Information, Monmouthshire County Council

Dear Mr Rainey,

It is the way that our Freedom of Information system is managed. Essentially we (our local authority) are no longer permitted to use email exclusively to respond to Freedom of Information requests. We log every request that we receive and in order to do that we have to create an account so that everything can be managed via the FOI system. The account that has been created is only valid against this individual request and is the only contact we have for you.

Once the request has been satisfied it will be closed.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Freedom of Information
