Number of asylum seekers expatriated by way of charter flight from inception

The request was partially successful.

Dear Home Office,

I refer to your immigration, detention and expatriation policy for those who have lost their legal case to remain in the U.K under asylum law.

Could you please confirm the following information; from inception to current year:

(1) Number of asylum seekers expatriated via chartered flight?
(2) Number of children currently in detention.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Clinton

Dear Freedom Of Information Team ( IND ),

I made a request on the 3rd February 2004 requesting the Number of asylum seekers expatriated by way of charter flight from inception.

By law, the Home Office should have responded promptly and by 3 March 2014, however, to date I have received no reply.

Can you please confirm the delay.

I trust this is in order.

Yours sincerely,

Mark Clinton
