I would like to request information about the number of applicants to King's this year. I would also like to know how many of these applicants were for maths and, of those, the number selected for interview.

This is in reply to your enquiry received by the College on 4^th January
and made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). I can confirm
that the College does hold some information related to your enquiry. The
information as held by the College is:
· Valid applications to King's in October 2015: 1,197
· Valid applications for Maths at King's in October 2015: 94 (93
after one withdrew)
· Maths applicants selected for interview: 80
Valid application are those which were submitted on time. We do not read
applications if the forms are submitted after the application deadlines.
I attach a leaflet outlining the College's FOI Act policies and
procedures. If you have further questions please ask me in the first
instance. If you are not satisfied with the way in which your request has
been dealt with you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for
a decision. Generally, the Commissioner will not entertain your complaint
unless you have exhausted any relevant internal review procedures.
