FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST

Further to your request of the 6th July I have been asked to seek clarification on the following:

Can you please seek clarification on what precisely is meant by:

1. Virtual schools

and

2. Satellite SEN provisions

Your original request:

I am interested to find out the number of alternative education provisions ie Pupil Referral Units, Virtual Schools, satellite SEN provisions, currently running in your authority.

1. I would like the information in electronic format. This should avoid any printing cost issues.

2. In order to avoid your having to collate information from peripheral systems, I am willing to accept information only from your main system (I would like you to advise which system this is).

3. The information I require for each school is: Name of the provision; Location; Name of the person in charge of the provision; Current number of pupils on roll.

4. I would like the information to cover the year 2009/10, if that is not available the information for the academic year of 08/09 would still be appreciated.

Your request will be placed on hold pending clarification for ninety calendar days from the date of this e mail. If during that period I don't receive clarification your request will regrettably be closed.
