Number of ADHD Diagnoses in the UK
Dear Department of Health and Social Care,
The information I am requesting is as follows:
1) The number of people in the UK diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as of 1st December 2023, Divided into:
- Total number of diagnoses
- Number of adult males diagnosed
-Number of adult females diagnosed
-Number of under 18 males diagnosed
- Number of under 18 females diagnosed
2) The number of people prescribed medications for ADHD in the UK including the medications
- Methylphenidate
-Lisdexamfetamine
- Guanfacine
- Atemoxetine Hydrochloride
3)The number of prescriptions claimed since the 27th September, following the National Patient Safety Alert about the medication shortage
4) Any other relevant documents regarding the ADHD medication shortage since 27th September
