number of accidents, including fatalities on Dover Road, Barham, Canterbury, CT4 6PW

The request was successful.

Dear Kent Police,
I am an occupational therapist from Cedar Hospital at the above address. I have written to Kent Highways regarding the installation of lighting at the bus stop and a possible reduction in the speed limit in this area. In the past four years that I have worked here, there have been multiple road traffic accidents and at least on fatality in the area.
Due to Cedar house having forty two patients who regularly use the stop and struggle in the winter to cross the road and even see the pavement, come winter time, it feels it is only a matter of time before a patient or a member of staff could be involved in an accident.
Kent highways have outright refused to consider the above and I wish tyo appeal the decision.
Please could you provide me with the number of accidents and fatalities in the last five years.

Many thanks

Sian Bales

Dear Kent Police,
With regard to my precious request for information relating to number of accidents, including fatalities on Dover Road, Barham, Canterbury, CT4 6PW. I have still not heard anything and by law you should respond promptly. We as a hospital are trying to get lighting at the bus stop for the safety of patients and staff who use this on a daily basis. It is particularly dangerous in the winter. Please could you respond because Kent Highways have turned the request down.

Yours faithfully,

Sian Bales (occupational therapist)
