Dear Alicia,
Thank you for your recent request for information. We apologise for the delay in responding. While we can confirm that we hold the information requested, it is exempt from release under section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act (2000), as disclosure would prejudice our commercial interests. Whilst there is a clear and acknowledged public interest in access to information held by public authorities, we believe that in this case it is outweighed by the public interest in withholding the requested information – and therefore not prejudicing the University’s ability to operate effectively.
I hope that this is of use. If you are unhappy with the way we have handled your request you can ask for an internal review. Details of how to do this can be found at: http://www.ncl.ac.uk/foi/access/complain...
If you are not happy with the outcome of the internal review, you then have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner's Office for a decision. Details of how to do this can be found at: http://ico.org.uk/concerns
Yours sincerely,
Information Governance Team
