Dear Mr Smith,
Your request was received on 3 March 2024 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (‘the Act’).
You asked:
Can you send me copies of all Examiner Reports held for Part IA NST Mathematics (Course
A/B) in the years 2019 to 2023. Reports relating to the Mathematical Biology course are not
required.
Please note that I am requesting the full Examiners' Reports (with appropriate redactions for
personal information, etc) and not the summaries of the examiners' comments available to
Cambridge students at https://www.maths.cam.ac.uk/undergrad/pastpapers/examiners-
comments
This information is attached insofar as it is held (there was no report in 2020). Minor redactions of
personal data have been made under section 40(3A)(a) of the Act because the release of the redacted
information would breach the first data protection principle (the fair, lawful and transparent processing
of personal data) as set out in the UK General Data Protection Regulation. This part of section 40
confers absolute exemption under the Act.
Please note that the attached documentation should not be copied, reproduced or used except in
accordance with the law of copyright.
If you wish to request an internal review of this response, you should contact us quoting the reference
number above. The University would normally expect to receive your request for an internal review
within 40 working days of the date of this letter and reserves the right not to review a decision where
there has been undue delay in raising a complaint. If you are not content with the outcome of your
internal review, you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
