NRPF Data During COVID19 Pandemic

We're waiting for Mr M P Hay to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Elmbridge Borough Council,

Please provide the following information under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000.

1. How many individuals did the council house during period 1st Mar 2020 to close of business 18th Feb 2021 where the individual(s) has No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) status?

2. How many families did the council house during period 1st Mar 2020 to close of business 18th Feb 2021 where the parent(s) has No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) status?

3. How many individuals did the council move on or relocate during period 1st Mar 2020 to close of business 18th Feb 2021 where the individual(s) has No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) status?

4. Where an individual with NRPF status has been evicted or relocated during period 1st Mar 2020 to close of business 18th Feb 2021, how many individuals did the council relocate to alternative accommodation:

a. Outside of the borough
b. Inside the borough

5. From period 1st Mar 2020 to close of business 18th Feb 2021, how many requests for support were made to the council resulting in the individual(s) with NRPF receiving support from the council?

6. From period 1st Mar 2020 to close of business 18th Feb 2021, how many requests for support were granted by the council resulting in the individual(s) with NRPF receiving support from the council?

    2 cases were relocated with the applicants consent or request

 

 

 

4. Where an individual with NRPF status has been evicted or relocated
during period 1st Mar 2020 to close of business 18th Feb 2021, how many

is meant by support – we provided emergency or temporary accommodation as
a housing authority

individual(s) with NRPF receiving support from the council? Answer as  for
3 above

 

 

 

7. From period 1st Mar 2020 to close of business 18th Feb 2021, in cases
where requests were denied support by the council for individual(s) with
NRPF, what were the reasons for this? None  if referring to emergency
temporary accommodation

 

 

8. In the 18 months prior to COVID-19 - period 1st Aug 2018 - 29th Feb
2020, how many individual(s) were accommodated on average per month by the
council where the individual(s) has NRPF status? This would be a zero
average

 

 

 

9. What was the council’s policy on NRPF pre COVID-19 (as a benchmark,
please use 1st March 2020 to define pre COVID-19)? If homeless or threat
of homelessness no recourse was established  no emergency or temporary
accommodation would be provided and a decision letter would be issued

 

 

10. What is the council’s policy on NRPF post COVID-19 ie 1st March 2020
onwards – this is currently under review

 

 

The Council operates a presumption of openness in its access to
information.  It provides much information outside the provisions of the
Freedom of Information Act and it will continue to do on a “business as
usual” basis.  Persons do not need to engage the statutory provisions to
access all reasonable information about the Council and its services.

 

Iffor whatever reason, you are unhappy with our response, you have the
right to ask for an internal review.  Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your
