Dear Nottinghamshire County Council,

I note that I should have received a response to my request by 8th April (detailed in your correspondence dated 7th March). I do not believe my request to be overly complex or require a vast amount of time to answer.

Please clarify the reasons for the Council's delay

Dear J O'Brien

I am writing to you in reply to your Freedom of Information Act request to
Nottinghamshire County Council. I have the following information.

1. Who is the main contact for overseeing the contents of the
Nottinghamshire County Councils 50+ Website [www.notts50plus.co.uk]

The main contact for overseeing the content of the Notts50Plus website is
the Commissioning Officer, managed by the Commissioning Manager (part of
the Joint Commissioning Unit within Adult Social Care, Health and Public
Protection Department).

The information is usually updated at least every six months and emails
are sent to the providers asking them to update their information. Any
providers who do not update their information will be suspended from the
site until they are able to do so.

2. Who is the main contact for overseeing which domiciliary care providers
share their information on the [1]www.notts50plus.co.uk website
Please see answer to question 1. However, the information held on each
provider is updated by the provider themselves and moderated by the
Commissioning Officer before being published on the live site. The
information held by the service is reviewed on a regular basis, to
determine whether or not additional services and information need adding
to the site. Many agencies also contact Nottinghamshire County Council
directly to ask that their information be included on the website if they
are not already present.

3. How many domiciliary care agencies currently provide information about
their services on the [2]www.notts50plus.co.uk website

At the moment Nottinghamshire County Council has information on 34
homecare providers; it is likely that this number will increase over the
next few months as the information is reviewed.

4. What is the screening process to add the domiciliary care agencies onto
the website, does the domiciliary care agency have to meet a certain
criteria? What council policy would the potential domiciliary care
provider have to abide by?

The Notts50Plus website is purely for information and Nottinghamshire
County Council does not recommend any one particular provider over
another. People are merely provided with information about their local
services. Nottinghamshire County Council is currently reviewing its
disclaimer statement which will be put onto the website as soon as
possible.

5. Is there a limit to how many domiciliary care providers can share their
information on the website? If so, what is the current limit?

There is no limit as to how many providers can share their information on
the website.

If you have any queries or concerns then please contact me. Please
remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision,

Dear Nottinghamshire County Council,

Many thanks for the information, however, I find your answer to the first question to be deliberately elusive. My question was "who" not what is the title of the contact person? I was logically requesting what is the name of the contact person. I find the below to be unacceptable and not inline with my request:

Please can you provide me with the NAME of WHO is the main contact for overseeing the contents of the Nottinghamshire County Councils 50+ Website.

Yours faithfully,

J O'Brien
