Dear Mr Schofield,

I write with reference to your Freedom of Information request below and apologise for the length of time it has taken to respond to your request.

The Civil Disclosure Unit deals with a variety of different work areas (not just Freedom of Information requests) and we have experienced a number of workload increases across the Unit. This increase has affected our processing and turnaround times and I can therefore only apologise again for the delay in your reply. As a result we are now reviewing these matters, which will hopefully assist in improving our overall compliance/response rates.

Due to the length of time that has passed since you submitted your request, could you please confirm whether or not you still require a response. If I do not hear from you within 20 working days of the date of this email I will assume that you no longer require the information and withdraw your request.

Kind regards,

Liz
