North Highland Way - a Green Project

Tina Marshall made this Freedom of Information request to Nuclear Restoration Services Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Nuclear Restoration Services should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Magnox Limited,

It is noted from both Dounreay and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority that they refuse to support the development of the North Highland Way as a multi use route.
Please could you provide information under FOI how Magnox supports socio economic projects of this nature, if DSL and the NDA do to.
Please also supply information on how both organisations adhere to the EU Regulations on Climate Change and Sustainable Tourism if you do not support these initiatives.

Yours faithfully,

Tina Marshall

Dear DPO (MAG),

Thank you. Highlands and Islands Enterprise, to whom considerable funding has been provided from the NDA, do not support the project either. In addition, they do not know the economic impact of the Sutherland Space Hub.

Yours sincerely,

Tina Marshall
