I wanted to know before the 29th of January when was the last time the Cambridge Heath underpass section of the a406 was checked for road damage ie Pot holes ditches etc and when any repair work was carried out.

Thank you for your request received on 24 August 2017 clarifying your
request for information about the A406 Cambridge Heath Underpass.

 

Unfortunately, from the description provided, we are still unclear about
the location. We are unable to locate a Cambridge Heath Underpass, however
I have identified a roundabout at the junction of the A406 North Circular
Road with the A10 Great Cambridge Road. This is near the Tatem Park
Recreation Ground. If you could please confirm that this is the correct
location.

 

Please note that the 20 working day deadline for responding to your
request will depend on when we receive satisfactory additional
information to help clarify your request.  

 

If we hear nothing further from you by 18 September 2017 your response
will be treated as a new request.

Please see the extract from our contract below with regards to the driven
inspection methods that take place at this location:

 

2.1.3

Safety inspections shall be undertaken on foot at frequencies to reflect
the characteristics of the particular element of the Affected Property and
its use, and at times of day which enable the inspection to be carried out
thoroughly and safely. However, on high speed Strategic Routes (50/60/70
mph), on roads where there is no footway, or roads where the carriageway
is too wide to identify defects from the footway, safety inspections shall
be carried out by two operatives in a slow-moving vehicle. Safety
inspections carried out in this way shall, whenever possible, be carried
out during off-peak hours.
