I refer to your request for information regarding cases of harassment.  We
have been advised by our analytical department that we would be able to
supply you with the number of crimes relating to harassment that have not
resulted in either a charge or a summons.  Would you please confirm if you
would find this acceptable?

I write in reply to your email below requesting access to a copy of a search warrant to enter and remove property.

To enable Norfolk Constabulary to respond to your request, please can you provide written clarification of what specific information you are seeking access to. It is not clear if you are asking for a copy of a search warrant form to enter and remove property i.e. a blank form or if you are seeking to access a populated search warrant that may relate to you.

If you are seeking to access a specific, populated search warrant that relates to you, then you could apply to access your personal data under Section 7, Data Protection Act 1998, via a process called Subject Access. Should you wish to do this I have attached an application form. The application form provides guidance on how to complete the form, the information and the fee you need to provide to make a valid subject access application.

However, should you wish to access a blank search warrant the Constabulary will handle your request under the Freedom of Information Act.

Please note that while we are waiting for your response, the 20 working day rule for replying to your original request has been suspended.

In making a request for information under the terms of the Freedom of Information act (2000), please also be advised the purpose of the Act is to make information available to the public. Therefore any disclosure made under the Act is deemed as a disclosure to the public, not specifically to the applicant, and will subsequently be published on the Norfolk Constabulary’s web-site.

Should we not receive written clarification of your request by the 5th June 2013, we will assume that you do not wish to provide any clarification of your request, and we will process you application in its current form.
