Dear Ceredigion Council,

I’m currently in the process of compiling local authority information of addresses where non-traditional methods have been used.

Several mass building projects for local authority houses were constructed using prefabricated or in-situ techniques such as concrete or steel and often had trade names such as Reema, Wates, Cornish etc. These are both pre and post war. Some of these types were subject to further investigation under the Housing Act 1985.

If you have any information of such dwellings in your local authority it would be of great use. Some local authorities have lists showing the road, number and type to assist with identification.

Dear Mr Lees,

 

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request of 7^th September 2016
which has been forwarded for my attention.

 

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council transferred its social housing stock
to the Housing Association, Tai Ceredigion during 2009 and therefore any
such questions needs to be forwarded to that organisation.

 

I hope this explains the situation but if I can be of any further
assistance please do not hesitate to let me know.
