Non-motorway alternatives for the A14(M)
Dear Highways England Company Limited,
Given the proposals to make the A14 a motorway between the Girton and Brampton intersections and to extend the motorway status of the A1(M) south from Alconbury to Brampton, what alternative routes will be available for road users who are not allowed on motorways?
In each case, please indicate the expected increased travel time compared with the existing routes.
In your answer, please include the cases of vehicles travelling between the Milton intersection and Huntingdon in each direction.
Yours faithfully,
Clive D.W. Feather
