Re: Freedom of Information request
Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 made to NHS South East
London Integrated Care Board (SEL ICB).
Your Request
I am writing to request the following information regarding your Non-Medical/Non-Clinical
temporary staffing procedures at the Trust.
Please can you confirm the following?
1. Non-Medical/Non-Clinical temporary job roles/titles supplied to the Trust by Recruitment
Agencies for financial period of May 2022 to May 2023.
2. Total spend on this labour pool split into job category (Admin/Clerical, IT,
Facilities/Environmental) for financial period of May 2022 to May 2023.
3. List of agencies engaged to supply said labour pool and the associated spend with each
supplying agency for financial period of May 2022 to May 2023.
4. Contact details for who is responsible for the Non-Medical/Non-Clinical temporary staffing at
the Trust for financial period of May 2022 to May 2023.
5. Do the Trust engage with a neutral vendor system for temporary staffing purposes.
Question 1
SEL ICB does not receive job roles/titles supplied to the ICB by recruitment agencies in HR. This
would only be through speculative emails from recruitment agencies which isn’t recorded
centrally.

Question 4
There is no individual responsible for temporary staffing. If temporary staffing required by a
manager, there is an approval process, but ultimately the manager is the contact who is responsible
for the staffing in their section.
Question 5
SEL ICB only sources temporary staffing using agencies who are under the CCS Framework: Non
Clinical Temporary and Fixed Term Staff.
