Non Lethal weapons, less lethal weapons, soft kill weapons, microwave weapons and psychotronic weapons.

andy lewis made this Freedom of Information request to North Wales Police

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear North Wales Police,

Please can you provide the full list of all the non lethal, less lethal and soft kill weapons and that North Wales Police have been authorised to use.

Can you acknowledge that North Wales Police are currently authorised or not to use soft kill weapons.

Can you also provide the complete list of illegal non lethal, less lethal and soft kill weapons that North Wales Police are not authorised to use.

Can you also provide a list of all the legal microwave weapons that North Wales Police have been authorised to use as well as the complete list of all the illegal microwave weapons currently in use either legally or illegally or as part of experimental research purposes, testing or trails.

Can you also provide the complete list of all less lethal, non lethal and soft kill weapons that are currently being either tested as part of secret experimental programs and possible research purposes by North Wales Police and or any other agency police, military or any other organisation.

Can you also provide the complete list of all weapons which may or may not be classed as psychotronic weapons that North Wales Police are currently either using or testing as part of ongoing trials or for research. The definition of a psychotronic weapon or device are weapons which are able to control people’s behaviour, seriously impair psyche or drive people to death.

Can you also acknowledge in the affirmative that North Wales Police are currently testing and experimenting with non lethal, less lethal, soft kill, microwave weapons or psychotronic weapons as part of an experimental program of research or any other form of testing or research program.

Can you also provide the details of how many times less lethal, non lethal, soft kill, microwave and psychotronic weapons have been used by North Wales Police in the last 10 years. Can you also provide the dates, times and the recorded incident event log details of each specific incident of when any of the above weapon categories were used in the last 10 years.

Can you also provide the names of the Police Officers who used any of the above weapons during the last 10 years.
Can you also provide the names of the police units and their location who are primarily tasked with either using these weapons, testing these weapons or trialling these weapons.

For the above requests, you may find the definition of less lethal and non lethal weapons as defined by the Home Office and the Police Federation appropriate.

With regards to the definition of soft kill, microwave and psychotronic weapons you find this definition useful and appropriate in order to carry out the FOI requestand/or any other definition that has been allocated to such weapons:

"any other unacknowledged or as yet undeveloped means of inflicting death or injury on, or damaging or destroying, a person (or the biological life, bodily health, mental health, or physical and economic well-being of a person) through the use of land-based, sea-based, or space-based systems using radiation, electromagnetic, psychotronic, sonic, laser, or other energies directed at individual persons or targeted populations or the purpose of information war, mood management, or mind control of such persons or populations.

You may also find the Ministry of Defence publication MOD document JWP3-80 on Information Operations and electronic warfare useful with regards to the above request: http://www.scribd.com/doc/175220261/JWP-...

As you may be aware UK Police Forces have been experimenting with non lethal, less lethal and soft kill weapons as part of a taxpayer-funded, fast-expanding, secret programme of research by military laboratories and private defence firms into so-called non-lethal weapons for over 20 years on members of the public.

Many of the victims of this experimental research are civil rights campaigners, political activists and social justice campaigners which suggests that any experimentation of these weapons which hinders the activities of these campaigners very seriously undermines the democratic process as well as being highly illegal form of neutralising pro-democracy campaigners.

If a Martin Luther King, John Lennon or a Malcolm X was alive in our present times, it has been hypothesised by military weapons experts that they wouldn't have been shot by hypnotised and deranged gunmen, they would have succumb to illnesses induced by either non lethal, less lethal, soft kill, microwave or psychotronic weapons which leaves no apparent evidence that an individual has either been subjected or tortured with these weapons.

Can you also tell me the appropriate means, channel or method by which someone might complain if they believed that they were the subject of the misuse of such technology?
