Non-domestic rates assessments
Dear Birmingham City Council,
Please can you provide a list of non-domestic rates assessments in
your authority area in excess of £10,000 Rateable Value detailing
the company name, Billing Authority Reference Number, hereditament
address including postcode, telephone number if known, Director
details if known and Rateable Value.

Dear Mr Lamerton
I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information under the
provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Please find attached a spreadsheet supplying you with the following
information as requested in relation to National Non Domestic Rates
properties with a rateable value of over £10,000.
1. The name of the company
2. Full property address
3. Unique property reference number
4. Rateable value
Due to Data Protection reasons any individual named ratepayers and their
address have been omitted.

The customers payment reference has not been supplied as this is unique to
a customer and could breach confidentiality. Additionally we are unable to
supply telephone numbers and do not hold directors details.
If you are not satisfied with the response you may ask for an internal
review. If subsequently you are not satisfied with the Council’s decision
you may apply to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally,
the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
procedure provided by the Council. The Information Commissioner can be
